| Okay...now that I have time to talk about Mexico, I will. God showed me so so much on this trip. I fell in love with the people of Mexico. Those people had a selflessness that a lot of us don't have in America including myself. I tend to find myself praying for my needs when there are people not too far away praying for their families instead of themselves. During the day in Mexico, we would go through the villages and let everyone know that there would be a church service at a certain time. When that time would come, people would stop what they were doing so that they could worship God. We would have a church service with an altar call, and then we would have prayer warriors pray over anyone with concerns. When you pray in Mexico, God will often heal those people if it's in his will. I know that sounds unbelievable, but believe me it happens. People in third world countries hear God audibly, and also see drastic miracles. Isn't that awesome? God is so good to his people. Anyways...one day we were praying for people, and this one girl came up to our youth and handed us her bracelet that she's had for most of her life. She put us before herself. Then, she lifted up prayer for her family. I'm not saying this to make you guys feel bad, but think about how lucky we are! We are so fortunate and blessed in America. This beautiful girl was covered in dirt, yet she never once mentioned herself and her needs. I enjoyed fellowship in Mexico that was so small compared to what heaven is going to be like. One day, I got to speak at this landfill to these people. I remember looking around at these people. As I looked around, I saw babies crying, covered in dirt. I saw families with nothing but trash to eat. Yet, I realized that one day the dirt on their faces would be wiped away. One day, their trash would be turned into the biggest feast and party God could possibly throw. One day, we would all be hand in hand, singing praises to our Father. There are people who are hurting physically in Mexico, but spiritually that have so much to offer to us. God has a lot to teach you if you're willing to answer the call. Maybe it's right here in Murfreesboro. But Jesus says in scripture that he came to heal the sick, not the healthy. God blessed me so much during this trip, and I will never forget the kid's faces. I will never forget while we were playing soccer, they would say, "Aqui (right here)" in high pitch, cute little voices. I will never forget how much they wanted you to pick them up when you walked by.
One night, my mom was crying. We were sharing with each other about what where we saw Christ. She said she saw a girl who wasn't smiling. She tried everything to get her to smile. All day, she worked hard to get her to smile. Then she got to the point where she wanted this little girl to realize how much God loved her. She prayed to God and said, "God, please let me know you are here. Help this little girl to know she is loved by you." The little girl then approached my mom and said, "It's okay. I love you." Then she smiled.....
