Okay...now that I have time to talk about Mexico, I will. God showed me so so much on this trip. I fell in love with the people of Mexico. Those people had a selflessness that a lot of us don't have in America including myself. I tend to find myself praying for my needs when there are people not too far away praying for their families instead of themselves. During the day in Mexico, we would go through the villages and let everyone know that there would be a church service at a certain time. When that time would come, people would stop what they were doing so that they could worship God. We would have a church service with an altar call, and then we would have prayer warriors pray over anyone with concerns. When you pray in Mexico, God will often heal those people if it's in his will. I know that sounds unbelievable, but believe me it happens. People in third world countries hear God audibly, and also see drastic miracles. Isn't that awesome? God is so good to his people. Anyways...one day we were praying for people, and this one girl came up to our youth and handed us her bracelet that she's had for most of her life. She put us before herself. Then, she lifted up prayer for her family. I'm not saying this to make you guys feel bad, but think about how lucky we are! We are so fortunate and blessed in America. This beautiful girl was covered in dirt, yet she never once mentioned herself and her needs. I enjoyed fellowship in Mexico that was so small compared to what heaven is going to be like. One day, I got to speak at this landfill to these people. I remember looking around at these people. As I looked around, I saw babies crying, covered in dirt. I saw families with nothing but trash to eat. Yet, I realized that one day the dirt on their faces would be wiped away. One day, their trash would be turned into the biggest feast and party God could possibly throw. One day, we would all be hand in hand, singing praises to our Father. There are people who are hurting physically in Mexico, but spiritually that have so much to offer to us. God has a lot to teach you if you're willing to answer the call. Maybe it's right here in Murfreesboro. But Jesus says in scripture that he came to heal the sick, not the healthy. God blessed me so much during this trip, and I will never forget the kid's faces. I will never forget while we were playing soccer, they would say, "Aqui (right here)" in high pitch, cute little voices. I will never forget how much they wanted you to pick them up when you walked by.

One night, my mom was crying. We were sharing with each other about what where we saw Christ. She said she saw a girl who wasn't smiling. She tried everything to get her to smile. All day, she worked hard to get her to smile. Then she got to the point where she wanted this little girl to realize how much God loved her. She prayed to God and said, "God, please let me know you are here. Help this little girl to know she is loved by you." The little girl then approached my mom and said, "It's okay. I love you." Then she smiled.....

So today I got in my first car accident. It was pretty wild, but it was amazing to see all of the places where God worked. Basically this guy was turning into Toot's and he crossed 3 lanes of traffic to get in. Two lanes were stopped, but he never checked to see Michael Dillon in lane number 3. I was taking Amber home because I had just got done drilling her and her mom at racquetball. We were both okay, but I just so happened to hit a guy who didn't have his license. After the accident, I got out of the car to see if he was okay, and he took off. He was caught and arrested running down the street about 20 minutes later. He left his girlfriend at the scene of the accident, so she sat with us. He went to jail, and he ended up adding to his list of DUI's and prior arrests. I have minor damage, but their car was totaled. Let me tell you guys...that may sound bad, but listen to what God did...

1. While I was eating breakfast at my friend's grandmother's house, she read us a devotional talking about trials that we go through in life. It also mentioned when bad things happen to good people. Of course I didn't understand it until I wrecked.
2. Before the accident, Amber told me to get in one of the two lanes stopped. I said no because we always turned right after toot's. God was telling me to get over. Our conversation prior to that comment from Amber was about listening to God's voice.
3. I hit the safest part on my car. Minor damage to my car while the other car was destroyed by the infamous 91 civic.
4. God worked in Amber to comfort me. I felt his peace and joy throughout the accident.
5. My friends were inside Toot's and saw the whole thing. My youth minister came out as well to check on me! WHOA!
6. God may have changed those 2 lives today because we had open hearts.

God did incredible things today. I know the circumstances sound bad, but we were being protected. Even in the bad times, rejoice because God will work with whatever comes your way. His will is totally beyond our imagination, but our Creator truly does have a huge plan for us. Today was a prime example of God working for various purposes!

Well...I'm off to Mexico. I love you guys and I will miss you. Please keep my family in your prayers. I'm so excited! Amber, I'm sorry for today, but it was exciting that God may have worked in us to plant seeds in their hearts. Guys, don't let anything bad bring you down because you never know when God may work in that situation. He's always there with you...Good times and BAD times!!!

Michael
